Reflection (Rant) : Wright – The ABCs of Socialism – But at Least Capitalism is Free and Democratic, Right?

Well, this one hit a nerve, as an angry poor person living paycheque to paycheque; my daily prayer is a curse to the existence of all rich people.

I can relate agonizingly to the first boundary in that I would love to be able to do an unpaid internship, especially considering the 420 placement hours my program requires for me to graduate. Unfortunately, no matter how I slice it and when I decide to do the placement, I’m looking at 16-hour workdays with school + work. “Work or Starve” is not freedom, indeed!

Capitalists truly do decide, and I must dance like a puppet at the end of a string. If I may be quite honest, while nine to five is tyranny, then minimum wage is definitely some type of fascist paranormal activity.

Give me a living wage, you dicks!

Why am I stacking up hours like Lego, closing the store near midnight and opening the next day at 5am because I didn’t get scheduled enough hours to even cover my car insurance payment coming out this week. And then I wonder why I am mentally ill.

The government is a lobbyist dumpster fire, and I will box Doug Ford and all the elites when I see them in hell. With that, I will conclude this reflection with a lovely, “eat the rich” and a very, “bring back the guillotine.”

I apologize, this turned out to be a rant more than a reflection, but whatever, it is what it is.
